Our team consists of former employees of the erotic boutique Tutti Passi and experienced experts from the kink world. We offer honest and thorough advice based on our shared knowledge and passion.
Thorns was born from the dream of creating a warmer, safer, and more inclusive sex shop: a place where sensuality and kink are approached with respect and openness.
We value community, diversity, and inclusivity. Thorns is LGBTQ+ inclusive and was founded by a queer woman, with the belief that everyone should feel welcome and seen.
Our transparency promises
We believe it's important that you know exactly where our products come from and how they're made. Thorns is a non-profit organization, meaning our founders don't profit from the association. Every euro that comes in goes directly back to Thorns itself, our suppliers, and the educators who make our platform possible.
Our 'local'
We love supporting the people who share our vision. Our partners design and manufacture their products themselves, with genuine love and attention. Wherever possible, we source locally.
The origin of our range:

Ropes: Antwerp, Belgium. Crafted with traditional Japanese roots. These are the only ropes still knotted entirely by hand.

Our sustainability
We primarily work with two types of partners. First, we choose independent makers who create everything by hand. No polluting factories are involved. We use natural raw materials like jute, bamboo, leather, and latex. The only exception is our dildos; for safety, they are made of high-quality, body-safe silicone.
We also partner with a responsible family business for our other sex toys, because handcrafting in this category is simply not always safe or feasible. We chose The Natural Love Company, the most ethical supplier in the industry.
